Wildflowers II continues to explore depth through a warmer and more saturated environment. Reds, yellows, and oranges create warmth throughout the composition, while individual flowers build their own contrasts through changes in scale, texture, color, transparency, light, and shadow. Some push toward the front of the box while others sit much farther back. Dragonflies emerge among the flowers as another detail to discover. Changes in position reveal different overlaps and connections, allowing the composition to keep shifting even though the objects themselves remain still.
